Responsibilities:
Citizant is looking for software development professionals who are experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) to work on several high visibility systems. Our team will implement a complete SOA runtime software stack then analyze and implement customer requirements for individual services. Qualified candidates are self-motivated, US citizens that are willing to learn new technologies and tools. - Design, develop, and test J2EE application services using Java, Enterprise Java Beans, Hibernate, Struts, and Eclipse. - Coordinate with customer technical staff to collect specific technical requirements. - Develop and implement software standards and conventions. - Work with or lead a dynamic experienced development team. - Maintains broad knowledge of software engineering and a demonstrated ability to independently work on complex assignments.
Qualifications:
Minimum/General Experience: The Systems Analyst/Programmer will have at least three (3) years experience and at least six (6) months specialized project experience or formal training. Required Skills: - Experienced and certified with the Java programming language, IBM Websphere application server, and XML. - Understanding of the Web Services specifications and implementation concepts. - Experience with IBM SOA platform and tools. Desired Skills: - GIS databases - Web interface design - Business Intelligence tools - FileNet experience a plus!
