People here are passionate about what they do and it is contagious. Position: Sr. Webmaster Responsibilities: Collaborates with internal team and related stakeholders to understand Web objectives. Provides consultation in the development of global plans. Develops key Web eMarketing initiatives supporting team objectives managing internal/external vendors as necessary. | Acts as key liaison between corporate teams to ensure managers are effectively leveraging corporate best practices for the Web. | Designs and develops database structure for the Web site. Maintains and continues to improve the dynamic features of the site through integration with current database | Performs QA throughout entire site; check for broken links, relevance and accuracy of data, and corrects as needed; updates information in Web pages and checks for bugs and other problems, diagnoses problems, and applies fixes. Ensure e-governance for web properties. Engages web-metric tools for analysis and reporting of outcomes and trends. | Creates automated online tools (e.g., eNewsletter subscription, registration, eLearning/surveys, calendars, etc.). . | Identifies and pursues opportunities to improve corporate Web presence by keeping abreast of new trends and technologies. Proactively changes/updates dynamic content on the Web site, i.e. forms, calendars, Web request database, etc. | Develops, designs, manages and distributes corporate online marketing communications, i.e., eBlasts, eNewsletters, etc. |
Skills needed: § Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the company, as well as external agencies. § Understanding of solid interactive/Web graphic design in application to content. Lead the team in ensuring use of multi-media tools and high level of interactive solutions with on-line presence. § Proven experience in architecture, design and development for managing global Web sites. Able to rapidly adsorb fresh technical information when it is systematically presented and apply it effectively. Analytical problem solving skills. Works under minimal supervision. § Demonstrated knowledge of structured Web development. § Ability to create, edit, and maintain structured Web sites and a strong knowledge of HTML, ASP, ASP.Net, JavaScript and CSS. Education and experience required: § Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Multi-media, Computer Sciences, or other relative field of study. § Requires 5-7 years proven experience in Web design and development in either an agency or Corporate environment.
