Senior Workers' Compensation Examiner – Work from Home
Our client, one of the largest insurance providers, is currently looking for Senior Workers’ Compensation Adjusters. The positions are currently open due to the addition of several accounts.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Will be working under very little supervision, handling Workers Compensation claims of medium exposure and complexity, for IL, IN and WI claims, within specific limits and authority. Also manage subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.

Responsibilities:
- Processes workers' compensation claims determining comprehensibility and benefits due on long-term indemnity claims; monitors reserve accuracy and files necessary documentation with state agency.
- Maintains a quality assurance program to support the Total Performance Management initiative and the consistent delivery of quality claims service.
- Develops and manages workers' compensation claims action plans to resolution, coordinates return-to-work efforts, and approves claim payments.
- Manages subrogation of claims and negotiates settlements.
- Communicates claim action/processing with claimant and client.
Experience:
- Five + years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience required.
- Litigation experience
- Experience working on paperless system
- Multiple Licensed is - Plus.
- Experience handling IL, IN and WI claims - Plus
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
- Effective analytical and interpretive skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment.
- Possesses a functional and developing knowledge of the legal statutes and procedures.
