Description:

Reporting to the Revenue Assurance Manager, this position will be responsible for timely and accurate billing of clients and responding to and resolving customer inquiries regarding billing. In addition, this position will provide back up to other department team members.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers to assure annual revenue renewals
  
• Maintain database of customers and analyze renewal percentages
  
• Recommend revenue price increases as appropriate
  
• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
  
• Follow up, collection and application of payments
  
• Reconciliation of accounts
  
• Monitoring customer account details for non payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  
• Maintain accounts receivable customer files
  
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
  
• Process returns and adjustments

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Accounting

• Knowledge of accounts receivable
  
• Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Great communication and organizational skills
  
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  
• Great Microsoft Office computer skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in Great Plains
  
• 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
