Intermediate level Accounting Position reporting to the company Controller. Perform a variety of accounting functions for growing Government Contractor to include processing of company expense reports, intercompany transactions, daily cash transactions, financial analysis and corrective actions, account reconciliations, and assist with EOM closing activities.
- Process company Expense Reports using Deltek Expense
- Daily import of credit card procurements into system
- Review all Expense Reports, correct errors as required and approve
- Facilitate Expense Report Training and assist employees on their submissions as needed
- Document processes & procedures
- Assist in the posting of daily Cash Receipts
- Assist in the posting of daily Cash Disbursements
- Assist in the set up of new hires into the payroll systems and with payroll processing as needed
- Assist with the preparation of Accounts Receivable invoices as needed
- Record Intercompany transactions and reconcile Intercompany G/L accounts monthly
- Assist in Monthly closings

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years minimum related experience
- Microsoft Office Suite, Access and Excel
Desired Skills (Not Required):
- Expert skills with multiple computer software environments (i.e. Microsoft Excel and Access)
- Full understanding of US GAAP
- Proven aptitude for detailed work
- Ability to problem solve and provide viable solutions
- Familiarity with ADP Payroll
