Staff Accountant I
Description:
Staff Accountant for the Financial Reporting Department located in Parsippany in the Controller’s Organization of Simon & Schuster. Position’s role is SOX control, review, testing and compliance in order for Simon & Schuster to meet CBS, PWC and SEC SOX requirements. Role also performs account reconciliation, forecasting, and Balance Sheet Certification required by SOX and to facilitate Cash Flow reporting and budgeting.
- BS in Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred
Superior PC and spreadsheet $ data base skills. - 1 to 4 years of accounting experience in industry or 1-2 years of public accounting experience
- SAP or ocomparable mainframe accounting system.
- Hyperion Consolidation System experience a plus
Accounting
Qualifications:
