Staff Accountant           33-11113497

The Staff Accountant Position will handle day-to-day accounting responsibilities related to journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory, and month-end close. The position is located in Batavia and will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities

• Bi-weekly processing of staff payroll
• Journal entries
• Account reconciliations and other accounting-related functions
• Supervise staff responsible for preparation of invoice coding, data entry, and payment
• Fixed-asset reporting and other accounting related projects and responsibilities
• Prepare required financial records
• Monitor staff expenditures

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Organization, flexibility, independence, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
