Premier Dayton Manufacturing firm is in need of a 2-4 year experienced staff accountant in their Corporate office reporting to the Director of Corp. Accounting This position will assist the month-end close process, doing budget-actual variance analyses, journal entry preparation, GL account reconciliation, and other related internal financial reporting. Further, the Staff Accountant will be directly involved in the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance process and will assist in the preparation of external financial information- specifically Quarterly SEC filings. This position will be part of professional team that will provide career development and growth, as well as opportunities for advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS: At minimum, a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CPA or CM A preferred 2-4 plus years relevant accounting experience; public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial reporting experience a plus. Strong Understanding of GA AP accounting Must be highly proficient in MS Excel and experience with automated general ledger reporting systems Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written. Must a verifiable reputation for being a strong team player
