Castanho Financial Group, LLC is a well-established CPA firm located in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a dedicated accounting professional with 2+ years public accounting experience with a strong emphasis on taxation. We offer an excellent compensation package including; health insurance, life insurance, and a retirement plan.


We service a wide range of clients including the following industries; Construction, Medical Services, Real Estate, Landscaping Services, Insurance, Automotive, Retail, Restaurants and many more. Our client base consists primarily of small business ranging in size from sole proprietorship to large international companies.

The accounting professional would be responsible for a wide range of functions depending on the needs of the client. These are some of the services we provide our clients for which we seek you to fulfill our needs:

  • Preparing individual, corporation, partnership and trust tax returns.
  • Preparing compiled and reviewed financial statements for a wide range of businesses.
  • Preparing personal financial statements for individuals.
  • Writing letters for both government and client correspondence to address a wide range of issues.
  • Representing clients in any IRS or State audits. These audits may include income tax, sales tax,

            corporate tax, etc.

  • Consultations with clients covering a wide range of issues such as computer consulting, business

            plans, estate and financial planning, business valuations, etc.

  • Handling Estate and Trusts which may include probate accounting, Federal and State inheritance

            tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns.

  • Researching tax or accounting issues that may arise with our clients.
  • Preparing sales tax returns, payroll quarterly returns, form W-2’s and 1099’s for clients.


The ideal candidate must have:

  • A degree in accounting and 2 or more years of public accounting experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Significant experience in tax preparation, planning and analysis including individual, corporate and partnership returns.
  • Motivated, flexible, positive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, conscientious and dependable.
