Architectural firm in downtown Nashville seeking full time Staff Accountant.

Qualifications: Adept in analyzing, evaluating and implementing procedures to optimize cost and revenue controls. Responsible for preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports as well as analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or equal work experience, plus 2-4 years of experience in a professional services firm such as Architectural or Engineering, has experience with Deltek Vision Accounting software or demonstrates an ability to learn and implement new accounting systems.   Demonstrates ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish a variety of goals under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Will report directly to Managing Partner.
