Staff Accountant           33-11191824

The Staff Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting responsibilities related to journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory, and month-end close. The position is located in Oak Brook and will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close
• Journal entries
• Assists in the coordination and communication of accounting functions and procedures with all other internal departments
• Account reconciliations and other accounting-related functions
• Help establish and maintain company’s financial plans, policies, and practices
• Assist in preparation of financial reports
• Fixed-asset reporting and other accounting related projects and responsibilities
• Clerical Data Entry; develop and maintain spreadsheets

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 year of related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility, independence, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
