We have a temporary assignment (minimum 3 months) for a Staff Accountant.  Responsibilities will include general ledger activity, producing timely monthly financial statements as well as maintaining detail analysis of all accounts.  Reports to Corporate Controller.

Role requirements

• All general ledger activity including journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, including sub-ledgers
• Producing timely monthly financial statements with explanations of variances in sales, costs, and expenses as well as comparison to budget, forecast and prior year
• Maintain detail analysis of all accounts, including multiple inter-company and intra group
• Actively participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes

• Maintaining an excellent working relationship with operations managers.
• Interacting with budget managers in aspects to variances on Actual to Forecasted expenditures.

Education, Skills and/or experience requirements

• The successful candidate will have a B.S. degree, in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting related activities
• Demonstrate knowledge of integrated financial systems.
• Excellent computer, analytical, and report generation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
