Staff Accountant

Corporate Accounting Department within a growing industry is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities include:

• Post and verifying all journal entries

• Prepare various analysis and accruals

• General ledger maintenance

• Weekly account & bank reconciliations

• Calculate depreciation entries

• Update fixed assets records

• Assist with month, quarter and year-end closings

• Preparation & analyses of the Financial Statements

• Prepare and assist with the audit process

This is a great opportunity for someone within the accounting field eager to grow and learn within an innovative company being exposed to its cutting-edge accounting procedures.

In this role, the chosen candidate will be a key player in several high-profile accounting projects, above and beyond their regular duties. 

Candidate should have an automated background with strong analytical skills. 

Comparable experience and an Accounting or Finance Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
