Position Overview
This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and interfaces with external vendors as well as many different departments and management levels within Boart Longyear. This position will work on an individual and a team basis within the Accounts Payable organization. To be successful in this position, the individual must be able to manage multiple deadlines, display a high level of organizational skills and maintain confidentiality as necessary.
Essential Job Functions/Duties
• Responsible for the employee purchasing card program - Canadian operations. Duties include but are not limited to: additions, cancellations and changes to cardholder status, troubleshooting card usage issues, training employees to utilize the online submission/approval tool, preparation of monthly reports, receipt audits, and coordination of timely submission of payments.
• Responsible for the the employee American Express travel card program - Canadian operations. Duties include but are not limited to: additions, cancellations and changes to cardholder status, troubleshooting card usage issues, training and assisting employees with submission of expense reports, preparation of monthly reports and notices, receipt audits, and coordination of timely submission of payments.
• Responsible for all day to day tasks associated with the Boart Longyear Accounts Payable Hotline. This includes interfacing via phone and email with internal and external vendors, troubleshooting pay status, and coordinating resolution to various vendor issues.
• Assist in preparation of monthly journal entries.
• Assist in various capacities with upcoming Oracle implementation.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration – Accounting (Candidate may be in final semester of degree program)
• Excellent organizational skills
