We are looking for the right candidate to join our Accounting Team as a Staff Accountant.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure the accurate, complete and timely preparation of monthly financial statements, job cost reports, and bank requisitions. Specific duties include:
- Prepare monthly closing entries and document support
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Maintain supporting schedules for general ledger balances
- Prepare monthly variance analysis for Job Cost Reports
- Upload job budgets into job cost and reconcile to Management Investment Committee approvals
- Upload capital expenditure budgets and reconcile to approved budget
- Review construction requisitions and development invoices for coding and compliance and approve for payment processing
- Prepare and post monthly overhead journal entries
- Prepare monthly PeopleSoft to Timberline reconciliations
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Assist construction and development administrative assistants with Timberline related issues
- Assist with training of new staff and Accounts Payable analysts
- Assist with the documentation of procedures and work flow processes
Skills, Knowledge, Experience

- Knowledge of computer systems
Education/Licensing
- Degree in Accounting from an accredited business school, GPA of 3.0 or higher
- CPA license preferred
