World class organization in Schenectady is seeking a Staff Accountant to be quickly promoted into a Controller role after an extensive and rapid training program. The Staff Accountant will be relocated to various plants throughout the Northeast every 6-9 months in order to thoroughly learn the business and then will be promoted to a Plant Controller after approximately two years. This is a tremendous growth opportunity for a recent grad. Job responsibilities include: plant accounting, cost accounting, general ledger responsibilities, financial analysis, budgeting and learning all aspects of how a manufacturing plant functions from a finance perspective. This reports to a Regional Controller.
