Our client is a global public corporation with corporate offices located in the chester/delaware county area. They are in growth mode due to several key acquisitions and are searching for a Staff Accountant for their Corporate Accounting/Finance group. The details of the position are as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Accounting Allocations for acquisitions
- Review documentation relating to acquisitions and valuations
- Preparation for financial reporting (SEC 10K, 10Q)
- Assist external auditors with reviews and audits
- Assist in formulating internal controls and policies
- Assist in various month end accounting activities
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Accounting
- CPA or in progress
- 2+ years accounting experience in public accounting ideally with some industry accounting experience
- Strong communication, analytical skills
- Strong ERP skills (SAP, ORACLE, HYPERION)
