Description

Currently Protective Life is looking for a Staff Attorney in its Birmingham, AL corporate headquarters. The Staff Attorney will work with senior attorneys on a variety of matters including marketing and product development support, reinsurance, and licensing agreements.



Required Experience

Experience:

  • JD and must be a licensed Attorney; Law Review  or similar writing experience preferred, strong academic credentials
  • Relevant work experience up to 3 years required
  • 3-4 years practicing law in private practice preferred
  • Transactional and contracting experience also preferred  
  • References essential
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects with extreme attention to detail, organization and prioritization of tasks.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Well-developed research and analytical abilities required.
  • Should be able to work independently, accurately and dependably under general direction and supervision.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, in both independent and team environments.
