Responsible for system administration, control and development of the Insitetm Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Primary Responsibilities · Primarily responsible for production systems development, support and administration associated with the · Manages/performs implementation, support and upgrade activities and provides overall system controls. Works closely with business user community to develop/implement manufacturing software solutions. Maintains system documentation and operating procedures to ensure compliance with applicable LT standards. Participates in and responds to audits involving the various manufacturing groups interacting with the MES. Qualifications and Job Skills · Bachelors or Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent experience · Must have knowledge of ERP or manufacturing systems · 5+ years’ experience working directly with the implementation, installation and maintenance of computer information · Minimum of 5+ years oracle/Windows database applications. 5 years + experience of supporting/developing applications · Exposure to Unix based operating systems in a globally networked environment and experience with manufacturing process · Escalation of issue to manager or appropriate project manager. · Sound knowledge of relational database theory. · Sound knowledge of Microsoft tools. Good understanding of SQL essential. Familiarity with TOAD and Microsoft excel. · Familiarity of Quality Systems such as ISO 9000 and Manufacturing systems such as SAP, including knowledge Job Knowledge · Detailed understanding of MES standards, MESA, ISA95. · Familiarity with the Biotech industry. · Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of underlying technology of main systems supported, e.g SAP, Additional Job Abilities · Requires the ability to perform independently and/or as part of a team and to lead projects · Requires ability to translate business needs into requirements documentation.
