Basic Purpose:
Supervises front office including billing personnel for Advertising Services. Oversees accounting functions to support the organization in meeting company goals and objectives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensures excellence in serving and dealing with customers (internal & external).
· Establishes office procedures and provides support to Traffic & Billing personnel.
· Controls P&L expenses, tracking and reporting these and other operating business results.
· Oversees billing service operations, including revenues, deposits, data entry.
· Computes monthly commissions for Sales Staff and Management.
· Assists in cost control and aids Billings accounts payable dept.
· Assists Traffic personnel when required.
· Defines and implements effective credit and collections procedures to maintain a low bad debt margin.
· Makes recommendations to resolve any administrative, operational or performance deficiencies in the office.
· Produces and manages revenue and expense budgets.
· Travels when necessary.
· Maintains payroll records as well as bi-weekly input of data.
· Implements Company polices in all levels of responsibility.
· Performs other duties as required.
Required
Qualifications:
· BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
· 1 year of experience, including some administrative and/or supervisory responsibilities and exposure to advertising and accounting.
· Proven ability to organize, plan, motivate, and control overall system operations.
· Proven supervisory ability.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Personal computer skills, advanced knowledge of Excel and Word, familiarity with the Internet. Experience with Traffic and Billing software (prefer Novar).
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Valid driver’s license, with satisfactory driving record.
