Position Description: Senior level systems engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise in the area of communications systems for DoD programs and joint research programs with organizations such as DARPA and other research labs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Proposal support, requirements analysis and management, design synthesis, documentation including generation of Statements of Work (SOW) and specifications,
  • Project planning, technical project management, subcontract control, and risk management.


Education and Experience:
  • 9 years of experience & BSEE, 6 years of experience & MSEE, 2 years of experience & PhD, or equivalent communications systems engineering experience.
  • System, FPGA, VHDL, or CCA design experience is a plus

    Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • High-rate Communication Systems
  • Satellite Communication Systems
  • Spread Spectrum Systems
  • Software Defined Radios
  • Signal Processing
  • MIMO
  • Phased Array Processing
  • Free Space Optics
  • Forward Error Correction (FEC).

  • Familiarity with Matlab and C/C++ is also a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and presentation skills are required.
  • Occasional travel is expected.


Special Requirements: Due to the nature of our work this position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
