ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compounds and dispenses medications for patients upon receipt of medication order.   Monitors drug therapy of patients by screening patient medication profiles.  Provides drug information to the medical/dental staff, nursing staff, and patients on request.  Supervises supportive personnel in the performance of their technical skills.  Participates in the on call rotation for after hours coverage.

Assists in inventory control in the department.  Staffs and supervises unit dose and IV admixture areas independent of additional staff.  Fills, dispenses, and checks all medication /IV orders independent of co-pharmacists and supervisors.  Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be a registered Pharmacist in the state of West Virginia.  Clean, active West Virginia license-hospital experience preferred.  Will consider recent graduates.  No retail only.
