Position:  Staff Scientist – Algorithm Development

Scientist will perform challenging scientific and technical work focused on remote sensing and image processing. Our successful employees have experience supporting leading-edge R & D of advanced sensor data exploitation capabilities in the following areas:

- Advanced image processing applications such as 3D reconstruction and data fusion for electro-optical (visual & infrared) sensors, radar and lidar,

- Signal processing for remote sensing applications, including detection and classification of weak signals in clutter.

- Physics-based modeling for sensor and other applications.

- Expertise in one or more of the following areas desired: remote sensing, machine vision, algorithm development, sensor performance models, data fusion, physics-based modeling, and real-time sensor applications.

- Successful candidates seeking employment will be proficient in applying scientific principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to a variety of challenging technical problems.

- Candidates shall have an advanced technical degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Optical Engineering, Astrophysics, Astronomy, or Computer Science.

- Candidate selected must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a US government Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
