Staff Systems Engineer / Architecture Based Design processes / J2EE SOA
Description:
Successful candidate will have strong Systems Engineering and software engineering background, recent and relevant experience with requirements flow down, Use Case development, use of COTS/GOTS, ABD and UML processes, spec development and writing testable requirements. The candidate shall have experience tracking requirements through implementation to test. Individual will be expected to perform System Engineering tasks through entire development lifecycle.
Candidate must have effective briefing, meeting interaction, and written communication skills; understanding of large scale systems engineering on J2EE software development programs; technical leadership skills; ability to perform system analysis, evaluate risks and opportunities; experience developing and analyzing metrics for trending and potential course correction.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Qualifications:
1) In-depth understanding and experience in Systems Engineering, requirements definition and management, Architecture Based Design processes and large scale software system development (full lifecycle).
2) Experience with TPMs, CAIV trades, trade studies, DOORS.
3) Excellent communication and writing skills.
