Job Description

Works under the direction of a Client Relationship Director, Operations Director, Director of Field Services, or Regional Manager. The Senior Staffing Consultant works closely with all levels of the client and Kenexa operation management and staff to determine, develop, and implement recruiting strategies and planning to provide a qualified candidate pool using tools, techniques and competitive intelligence.   Ensure customer satisfaction through communication, accuracy, responsiveness and other tasks assigned by direct manager.  Travel may be required for this position.

External responsibilities

·   Provide superior customer service and industry expertise

·   Anticipate talent needs and use staffing planning, workforce planning, and diversity initiatives for functional areas to develop sourcing strategies and build candidate pool and prepare for forecasted organizational staffing needs

·   Leverage recruiting activities and information to develop diverse pools for future unit and broader organizational needs

·   Track and report progress against recruiting plans and review results with HR and Staffing functional colleagues

·   Upon approval of a new requisition, work with hiring manager to set Service Level Agreements (SLA) expectations and requirements

·   Develop and implement comprehensive search strategies for specific requisition action planning

·   Identify target companies and markets to develop new prospective candidate leads through cold calling

·   Use Internet job postings and advanced web sourcing tools to identify and attract candidates

·   Use detailed screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and determine the relevant strength of the candidates in the pool

·   Refer the best-qualified candidates directly to Hiring Manager for further consideration along with screening results

·   Obtain feedback from Hiring Manager on submitted candidates

·   Develop and provide proper criteria that the candidate can utilize to assess their fit in relationship to tasks, work conditions and requirements of the position within the client’s organization

·   Track all candidate activities and notes in applicant tracking system

Other Responsibilities May Include:

·   Assist with additional program or divisional projects as assigned by supervisor

·   Work with direct manager in designing service and product delivery goals and the plans to successfully fulfill deliverables

External requirements

·   A minimum of  (5) years recruiting experience

·   Prior client management experience

·   Excellent written and oral communication skills

·   Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision but also be able to work as part of a team

·   Ability to interact successfully with internal and external customers

·   Development of comprehensive recruitment strategies

·   Understanding and experience in broad range of recruitment tools, services, and technology including applicant tracking systems

·   Demonstrates ability to work effectively in teams; collaboration skills, ability to share responsibility for results, provide and accept feedback, request and provide support and represent team plans and decisions

·   Ability to influence clients and colleagues, deliver constructive advice, diagnose and resolve problems and positively influence change

·   Demonstrates successful applicant interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to represent the company, explain work environment and total rewards package and develop a customized approach for prospective candidates

·   Ability and willingness to travel locally and nationally to support recruitment activities and staffing programs

·   Analytical and proactive skills to quickly assess emergent client or departmental needs in order to quickly and effectively resolve issues

Preferred Qualifications:

·   Bachelor’s degree (BA)

·   Experience in human resources or recruiting field

·   Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully

·   Ability to negotiation and manage third party resources: contingent and retained search consultants, placement services, etc

·   Advanced Internet search experience and continued interest in learning the latest search methodologies

·   Understanding of HR practices and related Employment laws such as: EEO, ADA, ADEA, Title VII, and Affirmative Action
