Staffing Specialist/Business Development Director

COME WORK FOR THE BEST Newark-Lancaster location Talocity, a leader in specialized staffing, is growing and hiring-AGAIN!!!! Due to recent growth, we are currently looking to hire both a staffing specialist as well as a business development director.

The Staffing Specialist responsibilities include, but not limited to B2B sales, recruiting, servicing current clients and day to day operations of the branch.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Service Delivery System

  • Obtain detailed assignment information from customers and utilize it to provide effective customer service.
  • Interview and assess applicants using the intake process to evaluate their qualifications for assignments.
  • Administer the training of temporary employees to upgrade their skills for assignments.
  • Fill customer work orders with qualified temporaries.
  • Monitor temporary employee attendance and performance using the phone and performance surveys.
  • Troubleshoot to resolve the problems or complaints of customers and temporaries.
  • Coach and counsel temporaries to ensure quality performance and job satisfaction.
  • Implement company award programs to recognize the good performance of temporaries.
  • Must maintain 1500 billable hours

Business Development

  • Conduct outside service calls to ensure quality customer service and expand business.
  • Conduct outside service calls to reactivate inactive customer accounts.
  • Make key skill telephone sales calls to acquire new business.
  • Present solutions to customers in order to secure or maintain their business.
  • Recruit temporary employees to form a pool of applicants for high demand skill areas.

 

 

The Business Development Director is 100% sales, focusing on growing current territories as well as expanding into new markets. Prior staffing industry experience is helpful, but not mandatory.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops account sales plans/approaches with Vice President of Sales on a minimum of 30 target accounts. Identifies prospects and develops sales strategies to secure new business. This may include sales calls, competitive analysis, coordination of presentations and proposals, in-office demonstrations, direct mail campaigns, and follow up activity coordinated within that plan/approach.
  • Conducts prospect, active, and inactive account sales calls both independently and joint with field management and staff as prioritized by the Vice President of Sales.
  • Functions as lead and primary sales resource on identified target accounts and is responsible for creating the account plan and coordinating the approach and communication strategy with Branch and Professional Managers on these accounts.
  • Meets on a monthly basis with Vice President of Sales to review/coordinate sales efforts to ensure continued focus and success in meeting and exceeding individual and area sales activity and revenue targets set by District Manager.
  • Provides area additional sales expertise and partners with Branch Managers as a dedicated sales resource to enhance sales efforts through engaging in specific action plans, presentations, activities and techniques both personally and consultatively to secure business.
  • Develops strategic solution oriented sales plans to increase business within key accounts and partners with field management to implement. This includes selling strategic product and service offerings/solutions and negotiating pricing strategy as determined by Vice President of Sales.
  • Partners with staff in Corporate Office and field to enhance/supplement product knowledge and plans/presentations as needed to close deal.
