Steel Fabrication CAD Drafter
About the Job
Custom Metal Fabricator in Cedar Hill looking for CAD Drafter.
Drafter must be proficient in and have an advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2002-2008 and have a minimum of 4 years experience. Drafter will have the responsibility of creating detailed erection and fabrication drawings based on given Structural & Architectural drawings. The person must have enough experience to be able to recognize structural notes and symbols on the drawings independently. The person must also be able to locate Structural members in the Steel Construction Manual.
Drafter would be responsible for creating drawings for the following types of projects:
- Stairs and Rails
- Guard Rails
- Storefronts (windows frame only, no glass)
- Architectural Components (countertop supports, partition supports, etc.)
- Canopies with steel structures.
- Metal trim
- Small structural projects (beams, columns, angles, etc.)
