Full-time, 40 hrs. per week
Evening Shift, 3p-11:30p, rotating weekends and holidays
Must be a graduate of an accredited program
Customer Service skills are required
Experience is preferred
The Certified Sterile Central Technician (RCST or CRCST) is an individual with in-depth knowledge of AORN recommended practices and AAMI Standards. The incumbent is competent to precept staff to the Infection Control requirements in decontamination, processing, sterilization, process monitoring and storage and distribution of sterile/clean surgical supplies. The Certified Sterile Central Technician is cognizant of current manufacturer's recommendations for handling/instrumentation safely.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 1-3 years experience as a Certified Sterile Central Technician or graduate of an accredited OR Surgical Technician Program.
