Director of Sterilization

A major corporation in the medical device industry has an urgent need for a Director of Sterilization for their medical device manufacturing operations in Massachusetts. This company utilizes internal ethylene oxide (ETO, EO), radiation, electron beam (EB, E-beam), and plasma methods for their facilities located in the Midwest, other locations within the country, and internationally. This is a global sterilization management position. This position carries the authority and responsibility for corporate sterilization management and strategic planning.

The location is the New England area and they are looking for people that are mobile and open to relocations for future promotions. This is a global company that is experiencing significant growth so there are excellent opportunities for advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum BS. Advanced degrees are a plus. 

• Medical device sterilization experience

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Complete knowledge of medical device manufacturing and processing.

• Preference for a history in the medical products industry with compliance

   to GMPs, FDA, SPIs, SOPs, ISO, EPA, and internal quality systems.

• Six Sigma knowledge and experience are a big plus.
