JOB DESCRIPTION:
CDI is currently seeking a Storage Consultant – Architect for one of our clients. This is a 10 week project.
We are seeking a Storage Consultant for customer support.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Architect with EMC Storage and Open Systems
• Emphasis on Architect skills and Technical implementation, not Admin!
• Resource must have their own laptop with MS-Office installed and WiFI capability
• Architect with EMC Storage and Open Systems.
The scope of the project is to perform Business Continuity and Resilience Consulting Services as described herein.
This scope includes:
• Review and further development of the customers Business Continuity Program framework.
• Develop and make recommendations on recovery design alternatives based on the customer’s stated Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). Mapping of the customer’s already defined critic al business functions to IT equipment in the customers East Data Center (EDC) and North Data Center (NDC).
• Development of Disaster Recovery Plans for the customer’s NDC and EDC.
• Development of Business Continuity Plans for the customer’s IT Departments at DGTC.
• Develop an Exercise Process for recovery and conduct two walk-through exercises.
