JOB DESCRIPTION

Major Function:
The primary responsibilities of the Store Manager are to oversee and manage the Day-To-Day operation and financial performance of the store.

The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager are to assist the Store Manager in overseeing and managing the Day –To-Day operation and financial performance of the store.
 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Recommended Work Schedule:

Average of 50 hours per week.

 

Working before and during busy retail holiday periods is encouraged, but scheduling equivalent time off before or after the holiday is recommended.

 

Essential Functions:
Perform a variety of duties relating to the financial performance and accountability of the store.

To supervise the office, sales floor, back room and the service of the customers.

Oversees both opening and closing procedures-including all necessary reporting.

Maintains and manages correct inventory levels for the store. Follows proper procedures when noticing out of stock.

Responsible for hiring, training and scheduling of the store.

 

Guide and direct each employee in acquisition, promotion and sale of the stores products in the most profitable manner possible.

P&L:  Able to prepare, interpret and understand P&L statements.

P&L:  Able to forecast sales and assign appropriate cost control measures.

To provide the highest quality of service to the customers at all times.

Keeps up to date with industry standards and trends.

Ensures that company standards of cleanliness are maintained.

Ensures proper rotation of all products and stocks product to par level.

Keeps corporate Division Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative course of action which may be taken.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

Assists all team members with any and all customer service procedures to ensure all customers’ expectations are exceeded.

Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures, practices safety standards at all times.

Adheres to all work rules, procedures and policies as set forth by the company.

Capable of moving and lifting up to 100 lbs.
