In order to accommodate continued growth in the greater Minnesota area, a local Papa Murphy's franchisee is looking for a General Manager for their Monticello location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Responsible to be at the store in full uniform and ready to begin work at scheduled time.
· Skilled and knowledgeable of all duties and responsibilities necessary to the efficient and cost effective operation of the store.
· Responsible for communication with guests and ensuring guest satisfaction.
· Responsible for maintaining adequate levels of qualified team members by effectively recruiting, interviewing and selecting, or recommending selection of new team members.
· Responsible for using the proper training procedures for training crew.
· Responsible for efficiency of operations, optimum food and labor costs, minimizing waste and maintaining fair and consistent treatment of crew.
· Ensures that Papa Murphy's standards for operations are met in the store.
· Inspects prep areas and kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met in accordance with Papa Murphy's and local health department standards.
· Prepares reports to track such items as food cost, waste, sales, inventory and hours worked by team members.
· Maintains a professional appearance at all times by wearing clean and pressed Papa Murphy's uniforms and ensures that all crew maintain the same image.
· Communicates menu or price changes, shortages and specials and promotes suggestive selling among crew.
· Responsible to communicate store status, problems and opportunities to the owner and/or Area Supervisor.
· Fills in the "build to" portion of the "Prep Chart" and "Dough Production Chart" and completes/supervises product prep.
· Accurately projects sales and recognizes sales trends to insure accurate production levels of product.
· Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and staffing their store, conduct orientations, training, performance evaluations and dealing with corrective disciplinary action of store team members.
· Responsible for the physical facility including preventive maintenance on equipment.
· Responsible for resolving guest concerns with the utmost professionalism, maintaining total guest satisfaction. May refer guest to owner and/or Area Supervisor for solution.
· Responsible for monitoring cash procedures in the store and ensuring accuracy of bank deposits, cash drawers, and justifies all cash variances.
· Completes and posts the weekly schedules for store personnel 1 week in advance.
· Responsible for store being in compliance with Federal, State and Local labor laws.
· Responsible to track and reconcile all promotion coupons and gift certificates, and balancing them with the daily sales report.
· Prepares work schedules and evaluates work performance of team members.
· Monitors inventory of food and beverage products. Monitors build to levels and submits orders to vendors that are within store guidelines.
· Responsible for checking all vendor deliveries to make sure that the store received the designated amount of product and charged accurately for it.
· Responsible for making bank deposits daily.
· Responsible for cash on the shift they are running.
· Assists at the front of the house, cashier, counter person stations, making pizzas and ensuring that pizza times are maintained and total in-store service times are maintained.
· Works the back of the house doing prep and pre-makes for preparation for sales.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises normally up to 7 employees on the Shift. May supervise a Shift Supervisor who has direct reports. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
