The Store Manager position contributes to the company’s overall success by leading store operations. The manager leads associate teams to create and maintain the company’s high standard with an emphasis on merchandising and sales. The manager is responsible for leading all activities required to achieve store goals including, but not limited to:
  • Unit Sales Performance
  • Personnel Management
  • Customer Service
  • Merchandise Presentation
  • Loss Prevention
  • Expense Control
  • Overall Store Administration
  • Acting as a role model and holding employees accountable for meeting company customer service standards
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selecting and training employees based on manpower planning


Job Requirements:
The person best suited for the role of the Store Manager is:
  • Results-oriented, well organized and has the ability to multi-task. 
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as, the ability to effectively problem-solve. 
  • Has the ability to maximize store sales while promoting a positive store culture
  • Flexibility to work a standard workweek regularly, including weekends, evenings, holidays and extended hours.
 
The requirements of a Store Manager are: 
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with preferably some college. 
  • At least three (3) years experience working in retail sales and service, and at least one (1) year of experience in a management role
  • An accomplished background in meeting sales goals, staff development and financial acumen.
  • Experience in specialty retail or jewelry experience preferred, but not required.
  • DCA Certification preferred, but not required.
