Goodwill Industries of Monocacy Valley, Inc. is seeking a goal oriented, energetic, hard working, store manager for our retail store and donation processing area in Frederick County, Maryland. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions is a plus! This position requires the ability to work evenings and weekends and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include:

1.      Leading and Directing Employees and Supervisory Staff

2.      Assuring monthly production and revenue requirements are achieved through proper staffing, training, scheduling, accountability and discipline

3.      Implement Standard Operating Procedures into store operations

4.      Daily bank deposit and cash reconciliation

5.      Employee motivation

Candidate must have a commitment to high customer service. Retail or manufacturing experience is required.

Candidate must have passion and a desire to improve!

Qualified candidate must also possess a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills. Proficiency in Excel is a plus.

The physical demands of the job include being able to lift 50 lbs and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
