Precision Industries, a DXP company, is a leader in the Supply Chain Services and Industrial Distribution arena. Precision is looking for an experienced individual to join our Supply Chain Services team, and fill the role of Storeroom Lead Clerk for our Delavan, WI integrated supply location. The Storeroom Lead Clerk will issue primary parts to customers in response to their needs. They will be responsible for notifying the customer when parts are received. They will also be responsible for communicating out of stock or special needs to the Buyer. Additional storeroom tasks include receiving parts into inventory, picking up and delivering parts, stocking and performing cycle counts, and other duties assigned by their supervisor. Candidates must have a minimum of six months as a retail or service clerk using electronic point of sale (cash register). Ideal and preferred candidates will have experience with hardware or industrial parts, as well as proficient computer skills. This position is a regular, frequent point of contact with customers that requires strong and effective customer service and communication skills. The candidate must be able to work in an industrial environment with the possibility of exposure to heat, noise, and dirt. Also, the candidate must be able to lift weight unaided of up to 50 pounds. Higher weights will require use of equipment such as pallet jacks. A high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates must be flexible. May be required to work occasional weekends and overtime.
