Strategic Account Manager- California

The Strategic Account Manager will manage all aspects of scoping, creating, and developing, revenue achievement and day-to-day management of new and existing partnerships for identified strategic accounts.  The goal of the position is to create and manage successful revenue generating relationships with existing clients and ensure that Panduit products, services and solutions are properly presented.  The person will work closely with product marketing, professional services and the sales organization to make sure the partnership strategy and resulting partnerships are properly focused and getting the appropriate mind share and resources for success.


 


The Strategic Account Manager will be a key contributor in the following areas:


·         Maintain contact with the specified accounts at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship. 


·         Partner with identified strategic channels to develop the penetration plan for the strategic accounts. 


·         Consult with end users to provide Panduit solutions.


·         Work with the field sales team to expand sales opportunities throughout the region.


·         Keep regional and national leadership updated on account milestones. 


·         Successful track record of generating sales from targeted regional /national accounts.


·         Proficient in executive level presentations. 


 


Requirements:


·         BS/BA degree: Technical, Business or Marketing discipline. 


·         Five to eight years outside sales experience, preferably within the electrical either data communications industry, with at least 3 years selling to large corporate companies.


·         Must be able to work independently, and effectively prioritize, plan and execute work activities.


·         Valid Drivers License.
