We are looking for a strategic visionary to cultivate the partner relationships between various global academic, industry and government relationships. This person will have prior experience with Mergers and Acquisitions, JV’s or setting up partnerships within the legal sense to support Market and Business Development in areas of priority within PMI.
PMI is seeking a mature professional to plan, investigate, and cultivate alliance and partner relationships worldwide with organizations and key PMI-based stakeholder groups. This person will monitor, assess, refresh and maintain current cooperative agreements based on progress to results and future plans.
Assures integrated activity across market and product plans including marketing understanding and penetration, positive impact on customer satisfaction and mutually beneficial arrangements that progress the profession overall, support the expansion and enhancement of the body of knowledge, promote advocacy and advance the strategic plan.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related area with experience focused upon business development, including partnerships or other more formal arrangements.
· Knowledge of account management at the organization level, familiarity with strategic business planning, and alliance planning.
· At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in positions related to business development; demonstrated success establishing credibility with potential partners.
· Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability working with senior management from diverse cultures and organizations; Show a track record of positive relationships with outcomes.
· Successful negotiation of agreements for services or relationships that benefit or align with an organization’s objectives. Ability to develop exit strategies.
· Foreign language skills, highly desired.
· Knowledge, experience, and ability to travel, domestically and internationally, including weekends and/or holidays. Must be available to travel; 30-40% with trips which may include multiple destinations and several weeks’ duration.
