Strategic Development Director Pacific Northwest

Description:

We have a confidential search for a Medical Device company in the Pacific Northwest.  This position will work with the executive management team to research and finalize growth opportunities for the company.  This key staff member will determine strategy, identify partnership opportunities, communicate with external partners and manage due diligence process as well as valuation analysis.  This is a high visibility position requiring an individual with high energy accustomed to working in both large and small organizations. 

Sucessful Candidate MUST be able to demonstrate ties to the pacific northwest.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

·        Strategically partner with current business partners as well as identifying opportunities for new synergistic partnerships.

·         Manage due diligence process as well as valuation analysis. 

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

·        Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with 2 or more in a Business Development role. (Medical Device experience strongly preferred).

·        Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

·        Outstanding project management skills.

·        Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and very fast paced environment.

·        Strong analytical skills as well as experience in valuation analysis.

·        Experience with creating and leveraging new markets and new channels is a plus.

·        Experience in negotiating contracts and definitive agreements.

·        Proven ability to conduct analysis and diligence activities to include market research, IP, distribution capabilities and technology.

·         High degree of professionalism with polished presentation skills, ideal candidate will be polished, articulate and persuasive.

TRAVEL:  Will be required.
