C&S Wholesale Grocers is the second-largest food wholesaler and the twelfth-largest privately held company in the United States. We distribute food to supermarkets, retail stores, and military bases across the country. Currently, we serve over 5,000 stores from over 70 locations in 12 states.
The Strategic Pricing Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing and monitoring the region’s retail pricing strategies and services that will better position region retailers to maximize gross profits and competitiveness. These responsibilities include providing C&S price management expertise to the Independent Retailers, Marketing Director, Retail Account Managers and the Category Management Team.
Qualified candidates must have:
• College Degree (B.S. in Business Administration or related degree) or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 plus years experience in pricing related activities, retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• Ability to develop, coordinate and implement pricing that is targeted, realistic and effective in meeting retailer’s gross profit objectives.
• Excellent Customer Service and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail.
