Strategic Sourcing Manager - HR and Professional Services

Description: Responsible for sourcing and contract management of HR and Professional Services spend for a large home-health organization with 550+ locations. This position will be required to manage the $80 Million spend from end-to-end including developing a business case, defining and managing procurement strategies, and leading cross-functional project teams through the sourcing process. This spend includes contingent workforce, training, benefits sourcing, recruitment advertising, payroll, legal and consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commodity Scope - Direct responsibility for spend and supplier relationships which could be complex and difficult to manage.
2. Strategy Creation - Lead cross-functional teams to establish short and long term sourcing strategies for HR and Professional Services that create a competitive advantage to Amedisys.
3. Sourcing - Execute negotiation and contracting strategies to put in place the right suppliers
4. Strategy Implementation - Personally and proactively manage all aspects of implementation including entry and exit of suppliers and the ensuing complex change management issues.
5. Relationship Management - Work in a way that positively engages the support of stakeholders to meet their business needs.
6. Commodity Requirements - To have a keen insight and understanding of HR and Professional Services and support business requirements on a 1-3-5 year horizon.
7. Savings Oriented - To have the drive to aggressively negotiate and deliver cost savings consistent with individual, department, and commodity goals.
8. Role Model - The candidate will be expected to act as exemplar and role model, and deliver role model examples of good practice which can be shared and adopted throughout Amedisys.
9. Project and Change Management - The complexity of commodity areas require high quality project and program management skills and a proven ability to manage change both internally and externally through to successful completion.

Qualifications:
Education: BS/BA required MBA desirable or JD.
Experience: Minimum 10+ years procurement experience including strategic sourcing and supplier management. Experience in HR and Professional Services sourcing preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Proficient user of computer applications including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Ability to effectively lead small teams and manage change within the organization
Demonstrated project management skills, effective problem solving and organization skills
