The City of Rock Falls is looking to fill a full-time Street Superintendent position with the Street Department. Position will report to the City Administrator and directs department crews in the maintenance of City of Rock Falls streets, curbs, sidewalks, gutters, alleys, signs, and departmental equipment. Position handles department evaluations, recommendations for training, creates the department budget and works with city staff to incorporate it into the full budget of the City of Rock Falls. Salary will range from $45,000 to $55,000 and will include a competitive benefit package, including city vehicle. Successful candidate will be possess knowledge of mechanical drawings, 2-5 years of Road maintenance or Civil Engineering experience, 2-5 years of Sidewalk and curb maintenance experience, and heavy equipment maintenance experience. Candidate must reside within the city limits within 6 months of hire.
