This position is responsible for managing the development and day-to-day activities of the Student Relations programs. The Student Relations Marketing Specialist (SRMS) will be involved with the communication of Student Relations program objectives and successes internally at Pearson as well as through external channels to reach the general public. The SRMS will assist in development of strategic marketing programs to drive student participation in Pearson Student Relations programs.
In addition, the SRMS will be involved in recruiting for, training of, and managing the Pearson Campus Ambassador (PCA) program throughout the year.
Working with the product teams, Director of Student Relations, and the CMO, the SRMS will help to determine and utilize social media tools and services to reach out to students for branding, awareness and participation in Pearson Student relations programs.

Budgets include: Personal travel & expense, PCA budget
Supervisory responsibilities (direct and indirect)
Direct supervision of the Pearson Campus Ambassadors. Indirect supervision of the Pearson Student Advisory Board.
Three years of publishing experience or working directly with college students preferred.
BA preferred.
Skills
Ability to recruit, hire, and train Campus Ambassadors are needed to scale the program. Excellent organizational, presentation, and inter-personal skills needed to strategize ideas in a team environment. Leadership and management skills are necessary to motivate PCAs. Outstanding communication skills are critical as the SRMS will be working closely with a wide variety of internal departments at Pearson as well as working with a broad representation of our customer base.
