The Summer Intern program gives students the opportunity to work with in a challenging environment. Positions are available in several areas including research, production, maintenance and operations. In addition to gaining marketable experience in a professional setting, students participating in the program have an opportunity to participate in structured projects under the guidance of a Covidien mentor, which is then presented to a company-wide audience.

The Engineering Intern contributes significantly to a defined project as a functional engineering professional, which includes hands on experience while promoting personal and professional growth. Upon completion of project, the intern makes recommendations and prepares a final report under the guidance of a mentor.


Requirements:

-Minimum Junior level standing in an Engineering discipline
-Excellent academic record
-Demonstrated core competencies, communication and leadership skills
