Heavy Civil Superintendent

Our client specializes in Heavy Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Track construction. The company’s expertise includes mass transit, road construction, bridges and tunnels, subsurface utilities, electrical and signal work, design/build projects and environmental remediation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• 10+ years of Heavy Civil Construction experience


• Project experience including bridges, highways, track, tunnel


• Full knowledge of major construction related computer programs


• Ability to interface well with Project Managers and Subcontractors including managing subcontractors in the performance of work


• Managing the subcontracts during construction including ensuring conformance to specifications and standards


• Reviewing and approving approval for changes from the subcontractors


• Providing periodic (daily, weekly or monthly) reports on the progress of the work


• Identifying quality issues and corrective measures, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget constraints


• Managing project completion, testing, punchlists and turnover


• Associates Degree in a Construction related discipline preferred


• Willingness to learn and take direction
