Department: Administration-Beh Health
Supervisor-Clinical Nursing position available for the Administration-Behavioral Health department, full time, days/evenings. Responsible to oversee the delivery of nursing care to the Behavioral Health patient population to achieve quality clinical outcomes and maximum utilization of resources. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Oversees patient placement. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Creates and promotes a professional practice environment and high levels of coworker engagement, patient satisfaction, safe and quality clinical outcomes, fiscal performance and physician satisfaction. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards. 78455 Job Requirements Required: Education: Bachelors degree required. Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri. Experience: Two to three years experience required in patient care with behavioral health experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership ability, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply sound principles of leadership and supervision. Must be proficient in use of a personal computer and must be able to analyze complex data from various information systems. Preferred: Education: BS degree in nursing management or healthcare business related field preferred. Internal transfer applicants without Bachelors degree may be considered if the applicant is willing to actively pursue a Baccalaureate degree once hired into position. Actively pursuing a Baccalaureate degree is defined as being enrolled in a Baccalaureate program and completing at least one course per semester.
