The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Pediatric Early Steps, has an immediate opening for a Supervisor, Compliance. The Supervisor, Compliance will be the quality assurance/patient data manager who will oversee the collection of the Early Steps Program patient's data (appointments, annual and periodic reviews of Family Support Plans, transition meeting dates, etc.), will evaluate the effectiveness of current data collection operational activities, and will make recommendations and implement procedures to resolve areas of deficits. Based on Federal and State requirements, the individual will design the division's quality assurance program, policies and procedures to meet requirements and improve productivity, quality and efficiency. Will also oversee the program's medical record operation to ensure compliance with University and State guidelines regarding their content, organization, completeness, accuracy and confidentiality.
Bachelors Degree in Business/Social Services or related field plus three to five years of effective work related experience. Must possess strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word. Previous supervisory and management experience. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
