Akima Facilities Management, LLC, provides integrated facility operations, maintenance, and support services to U.S. Government customers nationwide. Akima has the capabilities and expertise to successfully manage and operate large and complex service contracts across various business verticals.
This position plans, organizes and directs activities relating to Electronic and Vehicle Maintenance Work Control. You will act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and status requests as well as provide documentation as requested by the government. Related duties will include reviewing processes and procedures to ensure contract compliance, maintain master technical library, supporting requests into accounting and managing information input documents (identifying skills, manpower, work classifications, priorities) and contract applicability. The position also coordinates all actions to ensure that new equipment is logistically supportable.
We require a Bachelors degree in related field or two years of experience in maintenance management may be substituted for each year of education in conjunction with an Associates degree. Proven supervisory skills (3+ years) in maintenance management desired as well as demonstrated proficiency with software and database management.
