Education: GED Experience: 2 years
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years experience in financial services/bank operations.
Additional Requirements: Knowledge of retail and business consumer deposit risk management issues. Understanding of new account opening procedures, consumer credit, retail and business product knowledge. Treasury Management and Merchant Service product awareness with the ability to recognize referral sales opportunity. Personal computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook Microsoft products. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to interface with all levels of associates and customers.
DESCRIPTION
Assist Financial Services Manager and Area Executive with the development and execution of branch plan to ensure that branch financial objectives are met, customers are served in a highly professional manner, and branch personnel are in compliance with all risk management policies and procedures. The SOS is responsible for the overall operational integrity of the branch. SOS may have multiple branch responsibilities.
Principal Accountabilities: • Coach FSR associates on the development of new customers and solicitation of business from existing and prospective customers to ensure that established objectives and goals are met. Assist in weekly sales meetings with all branch associates to stimulate sales, enhance product knowledge, and share instances of best practices.
• Ensure assigned associates receive training needed. This may include conducting training, and/or scheduling time for associates to participate in various types of classes. Ensure associates complete required classes and follow established training plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and bank policy; keep current on all laws, regulations, and bank policies. Take responsibility for branch operational integrity, including completion of the monthly branch internal control checklists and all related control requirements, as well as adherence to policy and procedure by all branch associates.
• Perform various office managerial functions, including scheduling, assigning work tasks, managing PTO and training calendars for the assigned branches. Maintain appearance and functionality of branch buildings and grounds; place service calls to vendors for building maintenance. Handle accounts payable and billing process for assigned branches.
• Operations Support - Assist with managing various branch operational issues including: Ensure that all risk and customer reports, (e.g. Non-Sufficient Funds Report) for branch are handled on a timely basis. Approve all exceptions to check cashing requests within assigned limits. Verify (or delegate responsibility to associate) cash on a monthly basis. Assist associates with resolutions on cash outages to ensure timely clearing. Serve as vault custodian, order/ship cash, and perform related audits. Courier work to and from client locations as needed.
• AE Support - Track daily general journal reports for all branches in area of responsibility. Compile details to support the data in the report. Build and submit weekly funding and deposit report. Coordinate with all sales associates weekly to obtain application information, update all changes, and submit to AE. Coordinate with all sales associates weekly to obtain closed business numbers, update all changes on report, and submit to AE. Build miscellaneous branch reports as requested. Provide support and assistance to AE on an as needed basis. Track sales associates credit card sales efforts daily. Track fee generation daily.
• Sales Support – Provide sales support to the branches include support for Business and Commercial Bankers to sell Treasury Management and Merchant Services products, coordinate and assemble proposals, attend sales calls with bankers, and provide client support on equipment installation and training.
• Market FCB services via telephone and correspondence in a professional, sales oriented manner and maintain an active telemarketing prospect list to meet established goals.
• Represent FCB in the community by attending civic and community group meetings and participate or volunteer on civic and community projects to generate additional business leads for the Bank. Utilize relationships with local civic/volunteer organizations to identify potential CRA lending opportunities.
