What you will do

 

FireMaster, a JCI Company, is seeking an experienced Service Supervisor
to work in our Burlingame, CA office.  Reporting to the senior
management team, you will be responsible for the coordination, tracking, planning,
organization, and supervision of service activities to ensure agreed objectives.  Targets include quality, quantity, and timely
performances are met. 


 

How you will do it


  • Responsible for the
    direction, supervision, scheduling, coordination, and completion of all
    Service and Inspections on a timely basis to include all product lines:
    Extinguisher, Emergency Lights, Kitchen Hood, Exhaust Cleaning, Gas Systems,
    and Training.

  • Responsible for the supervision, scheduling
    and coordination and motivation of all employee service personnel and work
    coordination/completion for franchise based service personnel.

  • Driving Profitable Growth- Including
    implementing plans, programs and processes designed to meet and exceed
    corporate goals and objectives as well as maximizing service business work
    through-put.

  • Customer Satisfaction- Responsible for
    maintaining effective customer communications along with building solid
    customer relationships from initial contact through order acquisition,
    delivery, installation and service.

  • Productivity Improvement- Responsible for
    reassigning late or high visibility work to other employee or franchise
    technicians to ensure the work is completed on schedule and to FireMaster
    quality standards. 

  • ERP System - Responsible to run reports, track
    metrics such as order completion rates and late order statistics, to
    measure, monitor, and affect improvement in district financial results

  • Provide the business with timely and
    accurate forecasts identifying both risk and opportunity

  • Liaise and collaborate with other business
    supervisors, managers and sales staff and  to build strong
    relationships and continually improve the quality of sales and service
    delivered

  • Actively supervise direct reports including,
    Technical and administrative staff and outside resources.

  • Manage and implement process/contract
    adjustments with customers in a timely manner and in conjunction with
    business objectives 

  • Safety
    Compliance- Ensure that all employees and franchise owners comply with
    corporate safety programs. 












What we look for


  • Demonstrate supervisory/leadership abilities
    to include training, team building, presentation and negotiation skills,
    district administration and effective interaction with franchisees and customers.

  • Ability to motivate and lead a team

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage
    planned/unplanned workloads

  • Demonstrated to identify and resolve customer
    needs in a timely manner

  • Great communication, organization and
    follow-up skills

  • College Degree in a Business or an Engineering
    discipline a plus.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, as well as,
    business computer systems.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a
    driving record that meets company requirements.

  • Must be able to pass all company required
    background & pre-employment checks
