Wheaton Franciscan Medical Group is looking for a Supervisor of Patient Access to support the hospitalist program.  The Supervisor of Patient Access will be responsible for the supervision of staff and multiple processes and/or systems within defined area(s) of medical group operations and Wheaton Francisan Healthcare Hospitalist programs to include:

Coordinate day-to-day needs of hospitalist program. Support Medical Director and Manager in operational needs. Schedule and coordinate orientation of new hospitalists. Initiate and support hospitalist program and assigned clinic sites to improve patient satisfaction scores.

Completion of performance evaluations. Initiating hiring processes including staff assessments, justification of request for personnel, interviewing and selection following assigned guidelines. Initiating appropriate progressive disciplinary processes utilizing established policies and procedures up to and including termination when appropriate, ensuring follow-up to all actions. Monitoring and compliance with technical, regulatory, and operational standards.

The qualified candidate will possess an Associate's Degree in health care related field. Medical Assistant Certification is preferred, with a minimum of 5 years health care related experience.
